"The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking"
Albert Einstein

Welcome

Most people will come to a point in their lives when they may feel the need to turn to someone for support and help. A friend or relative can be just what you need at the time.

However a professional trained counsellor can help you to  understand and deal with an issue. A counsellor will enable you to explore different view points and focus on the feelings and emotions you are going through with the aim of moving towards a positive change.

As the name suggests a professional counsellor will be professional, this means not judging you or giving you advice and solutions. Nor would a counsellor get emotionally involved with you and your circumstances.

The approach of counselling is based on helping you to identify the problem as you see it from your experience and beliefs.

Psychotherapy on the other hand is a psychodynamic approach. This means the counsellor helps you to become aware of past experiences that may be related to the current issue and work with you to resolve the problem.
